Information We May Collect
Word Book is designed as an iPad-first document app. PDF files, annotations, signatures, form edits, OCR results, bookmarks, recent document records, canvas documents, and exported files are intended to remain on the user’s device or in locations the user chooses through iPadOS document workflows.
Word Book does not require a user account for core document reading and annotation features.
If users contact support, we may collect the information included in the support request, such as email address, product name, device details, app version, screenshots, screen recordings, or issue descriptions.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate local document features, provide document reading and annotation tools, support save and export workflows, respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain app quality.
Local Document Processing
PDF reading, annotations, OCR, signatures, forms, page tools, and canvas features are designed to run locally on the device unless the user chooses to export, share, upload, or send files using iPadOS system features or support email.
Tracking and Advertising
Word Book does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising networks for cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Data Retention
Local documents and app data remain under the user’s control on the device or in user-selected storage locations. Support messages are retained as needed to respond to requests, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
