Information We May Collect
Dance Book may collect account information such as email address, display name, profile settings, and authentication data. It may also collect app content and activity related to the user’s reading experience, such as selected books, saved items, likes, reading interactions, feedback submissions, and support messages.
When users search for books or add books, search terms and book metadata may be processed to provide catalog search, book discovery, and content features. Some catalog queries may be processed through external catalog services in order to return book results.
If users choose read-aloud features, the app may process text needed to provide speech playback. System voices may be processed on device. Optional API voice features may send the text needed for speech generation to a service provider.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate user accounts, provide the reading feed, maintain user libraries, save preferences, support read-aloud features, improve app functionality, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
Third-Party Service Providers
Dance Book may use backend infrastructure, database, authentication, storage, email, catalog, and speech service providers to provide app functionality. These providers process information only as needed to provide the requested service.
